Asked about Rush Limbaugh’s calling a law school student a slut and a prostitute because she wanted access to birth control, Mitt Romney replied, “I wouldn't have used that language.” Really? What synonym for slut, Mr. Romney? What synonym for prostitute, would you have used?

Romney didn’t want to offend women who use birth control: so many of them vote. Nor did he want to offend Limbaugh: the great calumniator might turn on him. So, he did what he always does: demonstrate that he has no courage and no integrity. We won’t have to wait long before he does it again. Leopards can't hide their spots.
