My Gloss on Jennifer Rubin’s Prescription (Washington Post 12-17-2020) for a Sane 2021
Don’t refer to or quote Trump. Let him fade into oblivion.
- Don’t try to understand people divorced from reality. If you must interact with them, deal with them pragmatically.
- Work to improve government at state and local levels.
- Work with reasonable Republicans to forge coalitions. There aren’t many of them, but they can be of critical help with regard to some issues.
- Work to repair the voting rights act and counter voter suppression wherever possible.
